MAF Day of Prayer

On October 19th we encouraging all to take part in the MAF world day of prayer.

Imagine if your community had no roads and little access to the outside world.

How would you or your family reach a doctor if you’re sick or injured? How can you receive an education or job opportunities?

This is the reality for millions of people.

Jungles, mountains, swamps, insecurity and a dilapidated infrastructure are all barriers to receiving physical and spiritual care and a hope for the future.

That’s Why we Fly

We are a Christian mission organisation that uses planes to overcome these barriers. Our pilots and personnel deliver relief workers, doctors, pastors, school books, food, medicines – everything that can only be safely and speedily delivered by air.

With an MAF plane taking off or landing every three minutes, the need is huge. Will you partner with us?

Please join us in praying for MAF and the people we serve.

‘The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.’ – Isaiah 9:2

In all the countries we operate in, MAF aims to be a beacon of light. We strive to share the love and light of God through our actions. That may be by providing a professional aviation service, being a willing ear or a helping hand.

During this year’s Day of Prayer, we will be focusing on the ministry side of MAF’s work.  We  thank God for the privilege of being able to take his Word to the ends of the earth. We will also give praise for all the answers to prayer we have seen, as well as bringing our current requests to the Lord.
