Orchestra of St John presents ‘Façade’ by William Walton. In the 1970s Popular Song from Façade was the theme tune for BBC 2’s Face the Music with Joseph Cooper. Tonight, you can enjoy the complete suite which sets Edith Sitwell’s nonsense poetry to music to create a wonderful blend of pathos, mirth and full-on fun!!
