Celebrating Marriage Service for renewal of Marriage Vows. This event which was last year called the ‘Big Promise’ is to be called ‘Celebrating Marriage’ at St Godwald’s Church, Aston Fields. Participants are asked to arrive at 4.45pm for a 5 pm service.

Evelyn Reston is thinking of organising a walk, starting from St Godwald’s at about 10.30 am and walking to Feckenham Retreat Centre (Rev Sue Barrett), about 7 miles on the level in time for lunch (suggested donation for lunch £15). Afterwards there will be a short retreat time with access to the church and retreat rooms. People must organise their own lift back – Evelyn may be able to help one or two. Come to our “messy church” Christmas themed event, combined with a “Little Wonders Dads’ Special” on Saturday 6th December 2014, at Bromsgrove Baptist Church. 10:30am – 11:30am: Dads’ Special (Little Wonders) will run as normal, so time for dads to stay with their pre-school aged children & enjoy bacon butties!! Drop off your 5-11-year-olds for an action-packed session led by Paul and the Puppets (from Mega Makers holiday club), with craft, songs & games, leaving mums time free for Christmas shopping, or to put your feet up!! 11:30am – 12 noon: Come back to join us for tea & coffee as we look at what the children have been doing …
